Frequently Asked Questions
Do I have to be a patient to utilize the natural pharmacy?
Yes and No. My LiveScript™ only works with physicians, so you must schedule an initial appointment to review your symptoms, so that the right protocol can be recommended for you. However, patients who only need preventative care (vitamins, minerals, general supplements) do not require additional appointments.
I’m not sure what I need. Will a doctor tell me what to take?
Your doctor will review your symptoms, along with any other medications and supplements that you are taking. After listening to your concerns, she will recommend the next steps for your care. Further testing, such as labs or imaging, may be necessary for some patients.
Will the pharmacy bill my insurance?
My LiveScript™ does not work directly with patients, so your insurance will not be billed. Our health care provider account will be charged and you will receive an invoice from our practice. Some insurance or health sharing providers may reimburse for nutraceuticals and supplements.
How do I get a refill?
For patients who are being treated by our practice, you will receive an alert that it’s time to reorder. If your doctor has approved the refill, you will receive your natural medications within a few days. If you require a follow-up appointment, our office will contact you to schedule.
For patients who only utilize our pharmacy services, you may request a refill through our office.
